MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in sterile processing, with 1 year in a supervisory role.

The Lead Technician will lead a team of sterile processing staff, providing training and guidance to ensure all procedures are followed meticulously. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to assess and improve sterilization protocols. Ultimately, the Lead Sterile Processing Technician contributes significantly to patient safety and the overall quality of care provided by the healthcare facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the sterile processing department.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilized, and stored according to established protocols.
