Job Details Job Location: NSC-Burlington Family Store - BURLINGTON, NC 27215 Position Type: Part Time with Benefits 20 or More Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Salary Range: $10.00 - $10.50 Hourly Travel Percentage: Minimal Job Shift: Day Job Category: Store Schedule/Hours: Tuesday-Saturday; Part Time 29 hr/wk; Non-Exempt This position is responsible for: Act as the lead store clerk and assist with opening and closing the Family Store. Assists store customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing store items Key Responsibilities: Operates and maintains a cash register; Performs and monitors a variety of programmatic administrative duties to support program operations Ensures the security of store items and the cash register. Responds to customers’ questions; maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the store displays Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Duties are usually performed standing. Standing may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting. Moderate physical effort required associated with sitting, walking, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying light to heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.). Work is sometimes performed in a normal store where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
