Our Client a leading international engineering company is delivering Detailed Engineering for offshore platforms . This position will manage and coordinate with a major global EPC partner during execution for a high-profile offshore energy project.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated brownfield modification experience (offshore).
• Proven float-over experience.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant structural/offshore experience doing detailed engineering .
• Working knowledge of Shell DEP standards.
• Strong grasp of Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) .
• Prior Middle East project experience.

ROLE OVERVIEW

You will lead structural engineering for brownfield modifications and topsides installation readiness (including float-over methodology), ensuring compliance with Shell DEP and Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) principles. The role involves multidisciplinary coordination, design reviews, and quality assurance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and approve structural deliverables for brownfield scopes on offshore platforms.
• Provide leadership on float-over engineering, readiness, and risk mitigation.
• Apply Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) and ensure Shell DEP alignment.
• Coordinate with global EPC partners on scope, reviews, and action closeout.
• Uphold safety, quality, and schedule; mentor engineers and standardise discipline practices.
