MPS Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Supervisor at the Wentzville Assembly facility located in Wentzville, MO. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the safety and performance of the crew at the host facility.   Shift Details: Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Responsibilities and Job Duties: * Be able to effectively interact with the customer at all levels. * Be able to seamlessly fill in for site manager in his absence. * Strong leadership skills and detail oriented.  * Able to lead team and coach supervisors as needed. * Able to effectively interact with the Union. * Strong knowledge of paint shop operations and the cleaning process. * Innovative thinking and implementation. * Excellent planning skills. * Understands and follows the principle of managing by walking around. * Able to create excel documents. * Able to create/implement/follow through with corrective action plans. * Able to conduct a walk through with supervisors to coach them on areas needing improvement. * Able to plan and coordinate shut down activities from planning work, supplies needed and procurement, outside help needed, communicating with the union, etc. * Effectively able to communicate with site manager and necessary parties' days activities at end of shift or during the shift as required. * Attend and participate in daily/weekly/bi-weekly meetings in site manager’s absence. Requirements and Qualifications: * Minimum 6 years of supervisory experience. * Minimum 3 year of industry related experience. * High School diploma or GED. * Must have knowledge of all equipment used on the job site as well as all personal protective equipment, safety supplies, policies and procedures. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
