  • Job Description:Lead, coach, and develop a team responsible for AMI compliance, quality assurance, and logistics activities.
  • Establish priorities, assign work, and monitor performance to ensure service level commitments are achieved.
  • Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and operational improvements.
  • Oversee inventory forecasting, procurement, supply planning, and inventory controls for AMI meters and network equipment.
  • Manage AMI-related supply chain activities across FortisAlberta and vendor locations.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance programs and quality management systems supporting AMI operations.
  • Lead internal audits, external regulatory audits, and compliance program activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Measurement Canada requirements, revenue metering standards, and applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Lead investigations into AMI meter failures and quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor vendor contracts, support change management activities, and ensure vendor compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and industry organizations to support AMI program priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage budgets, reporting, and process improvement projects that enhance operational effectiveness and program performance.
  •  Qualifications:Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably within the utility industry, would be considered an asset.
  • Strong experience analyzing large volumes of data and using insights to support operational and business decisions.
  • Experience in quality assurance, compliance, auditing, logistics, inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and build effective working relationships.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of AMI systems, revenue metering, quality management systems, Measurement Canada requirements, or ISO standards would be considered an asset.
  • ISO Lead Auditor Certification would be considered an asset.
  •  Important:Permanent, full-time role.
  • Monday – Friday schedule.
  • Hybrid role, with opportunity to work 2 days per week from home.
  • Based out of our Acheson office location.
  • Some light travel would be required for the role (~5%).
