In this role, you will have a significant impact on the design and support of enterprise GIS architectures. Your expertise will guide the development of secure, scalable, and efficient system architectures while ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements. As part of a collaborative team, you will lead the design and implementation of complex systems that support critical operations. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to document technical designs clearly. Join us in making a difference in the delivery of essential services. \n Accountabilities Lead Enterprise GIS architecture design across various development phases. Design and document GIS system architectures utilizing open standards and approved technologies. Coordinate with project managers and technical teams to produce integrated designs. Design secure hosting environments for GIS infrastructure. Develop architecture for data storage, disaster recovery, and system resiliency. Define and oversee infrastructure-as-code and automated monitoring solutions. Ensure compliance with security frameworks and assist in security assessments. Provide architectural guidance for ESRI ArcGIS integration and testing. Maintain and update system architecture documentation and diagrams. Provide operational support for enterprise GIS environments. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in system architecture or enterprise IT. Experience designing enterprise GIS architectures. Expert knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise. Strong experience with system integration and hybrid environments. Demonstrated knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
