Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administration, maintenance, and support of our IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team of IT professionals. Responsibilities Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. Ensure the security and integrity of all systems and data. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions. Lead and mentor a team of systems administrators and IT support staff. Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field of study (experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, with a total of 14+ years). Active Top Secret Clearance or equivalent. Strong knowledge of server and network administration. Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
