This role also involves mentoring staff, contributing to system standards, and providing technical recommendations to management. In addition, you may lead project teams and collaborate across divisions to ensure the stability and effectiveness of complex, high-impact systems.

  • Analyzing, designing, programming, and testing software applications.
  • Advanced development experience using Natural and Construct.
  • Evaluating system-level issues and recommending effective, alternative solutions.
  • Working within a large and diverse System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure shared understanding across teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service skills, including active listening, empathy, and effective problem-solving.

A master’s degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT related bachelor’s degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT related associate’s degree substitutes for one (1) year.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency with Job Control Language (JCL) and Time Sharing Option (TSO) in a development environment.
  • Familiarity with ADD (Automated Deployment and Version Control System) and EntireX.
  • Experience with system documentation, effort estimation, and requirements analysis.
  • Experience defining and enforcing technical standards and best practices across development teams.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues, recommend and implement effective solutions, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex, system-wide issues independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
