The Lead Systems Analyst - Research position supports automated system projects across all phases of the system development life cycle—including design, development, implementation, modification, planning, estimation, feasibility testing, and evaluation. This role also maintains strong service relationships between the IT department and its direct application users, serving as a key liaison to other departments and external entities. This is an individual contributor role with no direct supervisory responsibilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • In some locations, ability to move up to 20 lbs.
Responsibilities
  • Lead IT projects, including planning, obtaining customer input, and projecting resource requirements.
  • Review system requirements with customers and translate requirements into specific functions or deliverables.
  • Analyze flow chart processes and recommend ways to reduce steps and increase efficiency through the use of technology.
  • Plan, schedule and manage multiple projects requiring computer resources, including project scheduling
