Our client is a leading provider of specialized IT solutions in the field of network security, seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer - IT Security (m/f/d). The company develops tailored security solutions and supports renowned medium-sized and large enterprises in effectively securing their IT infrastructure and sensitive data.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Certifications such as Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are advantageous

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Several years of experience in planning, implementing, and managing Fortinet or Cisco security environments
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (IPS, VPN, SSL scanning, BGP, OSPF, ACI) and an understanding of concepts such as ZTNA and SASE

TECHNICAL AND SOFT SKILLS:

• Proficiency with security monitoring and management tools (e.g., Fortinet FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as well as analytical thinking
• Enjoy working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and a strong interest in innovation

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Excellent German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken
