Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
As we scale rapidly, we are looking for a Lead of Talent Acquisition who can build a world-class hiring function, ensuring we attract and retain the best talent to support our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a talent acquisition strategy that aligns with the company’s growth plans across multiple regions.
  • Work closely with the executive team, HRBPs, and hiring managers to define strategic hiring needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Elevate the company’s employer brand globally, building a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously optimise recruitment strategies, sourcing, and processes for efficiency and quality of hire.
  • Leverage all talent channels, including external and internal talent pools, employer branding and referrals, to hire top-tier talent in every function.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition professionals, ensuring alignment across regions and focus areas.
  • Ensure a seamless, positive candidate experience and collaborate with People Ops and HRBPs for smooth onboarding and long-term employee integration.

Background

  • 8+ years of experience in talent roles within a scaling complex organisations
  • 3-5 years of experience in leading a talent teams
  • Has developed and implemented talent and employment branding strategies across multiple regions.
  • Has proven to use a data-driven approach to improve talent processes and candidate experience across multiple regions
  • Strong track record of scaling hiring in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Ability to influence leadership and hiring manager on talent strategy
  • Deep expertise in hiring for engineering, aerospace or deep tech roles.
