INFANT LEAD TEACHER Hometown Health Center Childcare Program Hometown Health Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Infant Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. This role leads classroom operations, supports assistant teachers, and partners closely with families to support infant growth and care. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for infants * Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment * Lead and support classroom staff * Communicate daily with families through the Procare app * Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations * Participate in required trainings, meetings, and DHHS requirements Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years old * CDA, Maine-approved credential, or qualifying childcare/college experience * High school diploma or equivalent required * CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain) * Must pass DHHS background checks * Registered with Maine Roads to Quality or willing to become registered Preferred: * Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Join a supportive childcare team dedicated to providing high-quality, family-centered infant care.
