THE ROLE The Middle School Math Lead Teacher ensures scholars master key math standards through rigorous instruction, small-group support, and strong relationships that prepare students for advanced coursework. Our middle school serves scholars in Grades 5-7. THE PERSON As the Middle School Math Lead Teacher , you will: Teach standards-aligned math lessons daily using the LEAP curriculum Use data to plan small groups and interventions Maintain high expectations for engagement and academic achievement Communicate progress to families with consistency and clarity Collaborate with instructional coaches and the middle grades team Track student data to drive instructional decisions Participate in professional learning and school-wide traditions Reinforce classroom systems for behavior and academic success THE MUST HAVES Prior Experience Experience teaching math in upper elementary or middle school Strong classroom management and data-driven instruction Education Bachelor’s degree required Middle grades math certification preferred THE PERKS We offer a competitive compensation package and comprehensive health benefits.
