Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a classroom of 2-year-olds, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment. Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum to promote growth in language, social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Foster strong, positive relationships with families through communication and collaboration. Partner with assistant teachers and center leadership to maintain high-quality care and learning standards. Ensure compliance with Maryland childcare licensing requirements and safety policies. Qualifications Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred. Minimum 6 months of experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children (1+ year preferred). Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP). CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Must meet all state licensing requirements for early childhood educators in Maryland.
