Key Responsibilities Lead a classroom of 2-year old to preschool-aged children, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment. Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth. Mentor assistant teachers and model best practices in early education. Partner with families through daily communication and progress updates. Ensure full compliance with New Jersey DCF childcare licensing requirements and safety standards. Qualifications (New Jersey Requirements) Minimum 6 months of experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting (1+ year preferred). CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early learning standards.
