We are currently seeking qualified Lead Teachers for our Infant, Preschool and Pre-K classrooms as we grow our Center.
The Village Learning center has a dedicated Pre-K program in Pennington NJ, committed to fostering children’s holistic development through nature based learning. We are proud of our outdoor classroom, and we want the children in our care to have a deep connection with the natural world. We are looking for a nature based Pre-K teacher that will play a vital role in shaping a child’s early learning experience. A teacher who will create and implement engaging, play based learning experiences that incorporate outdoor activities and natural materials.
Qualifications: An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field experience is required.
A strong passion for outdoor learning
Experience working with young children in a play-based setting
Physical ability to spend extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

Education, Experience, and Training Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must meet all state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.
• A valid driver’s license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.
