TODDLER LEAD TEACHER Hometown Health Center Childcare Program Hometown Health Center is seeking a caring, reliable Toddler Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for toddlers. This role leads classroom operations, supports assistant teachers, and partners closely with families to support each child’s growth and development. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum for toddlers * Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment * Lead and support classroom staff * Communicate daily with families through the Procare app * Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations * Participate in required trainings, meetings, and DHHS requirements Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years old * CDA, Maine-approved credential, or qualifying childcare/college experience * High school diploma or equivalent required * CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain) * Must pass DHHS background checks * Registered with Maine Roads to Quality or willing to become registered Preferred: * Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Join a supportive, collaborative childcare team committed to high-quality early learning and family-centered care.
