Description Gretchen's House Child Care Centers are seeking dedicated and experienced Lead Infant, Toddler and Preschool Teachers to join our educational teams in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. The ideal candidates will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, implementing curriculum, and guiding a team of educators to ensure the highest quality of education for our students. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field Proven experience in early childhood education and in a leadership role Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team Passion for education and commitment to student success Proficient in using technology and educational software CPR/First Aid Current TB Test Current Physical Appropriate Attendance Ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to children, co-workers and families Sensitive to the individual needs of families Ability to communicate with families effectively Ability to supervise variety of staff Knowledge of rules, regulations and standards Knowledge of child development and the HighScope curriculum Ability to provide appropriate guidance Ability to seek supervision and use it constructively Evidence of emotional maturity and stability Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position Evidence of sufficient judgment
