Description

About the Role · Overlooking the Hamad International Airport’s Orchard and all the indoor plants maintenance activities, supporting the outdoor landscape maintenance. · Continuous inspection of the indoor landscape area and reporting any defect, nutrient deficiency, pests, diseases, and toxicity. Recommend remedies and cure to the plants using the latest available market agrochemical products and technology. · Meticulously and regularly inspect and audit the Orchard and other indoor plants within the Airport to ensure that all the plants are at their top healthier state. · Ensure the optimum soil and plant relationship status to ensure the optimum plants fertilization efficiency. · Conduct all required experimental and horticulturist test on the plants to determine the optimum inputs for healthier plants output. · Oversea the incumbent contractors’ activities and performance and ensure the full implementation of the contractual SLA. · Ensuring all related Work Orders of the Airport asset management system are accomplished as per the project specs and standards, and ensure the continuous improvement of the day-to-day business to position the landscaping of the Airport at the highest possible level and reputation, in line with the 5-star Airport Image. · Monitoring the performance of the irrigation network system and recommend any adjustment to ensure a heathiest status of plants. · Report the conditions of the Airport Landscape status to the line manager with the support of a detailed quality assurance process. · Maintain a continuous communication with the maintenance contractor and recommend adjustment in resources, manpower equipment, and consumables to optimize the wok efficiency and to ensure the highest standards and strategy of maintenance practices. · Continuously recommend and propose actions to ensure the continuous improvement of the business effeminacy and outcome · Ensure safety measures are being applied among all incumbent contractors About you High School Qualification/ Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience Essential · Landscape maintenance experience · Horticultural related qualification Preferred · Indoor plants maintenance experience · Landscape auditing experience Job Specific Skills: Essential · Audit skills · Command of English language · Writing technical documents & procedures
