Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing input into the design, development and implementation of the ships auxiliary equipment and systems
  • Conduct installation, set to work, acceptance testing and maintaining the system and equipment against technical requirements.
  • Provide oversite and technical Subject Matter Expert knowledge for T&C
  • Development an prepare accurate test procedures and reports
  • Provide expert technical and hands on services the project
  • Provide input to planning and maintenance of schedules
  • Defect analysis, resolution and provision of detailed technical reports
  • Contribute to the analysis on complex technical problems to create solutions where precedent may not exist
  • Make decisions and facilitate problem-solving guided by policies, procedures & business plan
  • Working with minimum supervision & manage own time to address competing task priorities
  • Comply with requirements of BAE Systems Australia Quality Systems as they relate to areas of activity
  • Provide input to employee performance evaluations and coach team member performance
  • Promote and encourage co-operation within the team
  • Seek and share good practice and knowledge to continuously improve team practices
