JR6124014 Lead Flight Technician (f/m/d)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Competently disassemble, clean, and assemble engines, modules, components at an intermediate level.
• Operate equipment such as forklift, scissor lift, hoist, Pneumatic and power hand tools, along with special engine tools.
• Operate precision tools and equipment to perform accurate dimensions without error.
• Comply with work scope instructions as directed by our Maintenance Operations Centre or your team lead.
• Use troubleshooting logic to identify defects in component or parts.
• Access and use engine data materials such as AMM, EMM, IPC Etc.
• Understand; interpret and apply Service Bulletins, Advisory Directives and Technical Variances when applicable.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Provide logistics experience such as, shipping, receiving and inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent
• Airframe & Power Plant License or ability to obtain a Repairman’s Certificate
• Significant working experience with gas turbine engine components or similar industry experience
• English Fluency is mandatory.
• Ability to travel frequently (domestic and international)
• Proven track record of managing relations with client / customers.
• Responsibility for paperwork including log book entries, 8130-3 and return to service documents.
• Able to act in a lead capacity when directed by our Maintenance Operations Centre.
• Driving licence
• Bore Blend knowledge or extensive Bore scoping capabilities on multiple engine types is an advantage.
