Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Repairs & Maintenance Supervisor (known internally as Lead Technician) is an essential member of the Direct Repairs department, who leads a dedicated team of multi trade operatives, by providing a comprehensive, efficient and responsive property service delivery. The primary focus is providing a high-quality responsive maintenance service to all residents, internal colleagues and partners. To also provide clear structure and support to operatives in managing repairs effectively from inception to completion and final quality assurance. Your main base will be Bracknell, with regular travel required across Berkshire.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Day-to-day line management of a team of operatives, covering a multitude of trades.
  • Management of all associated workstreams, productivity, and value for money.
  • Monitoring, Training, and Promotion of safe working practices.
  • Fleet, Equipment, and Materials management (stock control, maintenance, and safety).
  • Resident liaison, including stage 1 complaint handling and escalation when required.
