Responsibilities:

• Work with top management to formulate company’s product and technology roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance to team of medical device development team.
• Deliver design solutions to meet customer requirements and verify that specifications for product systems, subsystems, interfaces, and components meet customer requirements and maintain traceability throughout the development process.
• Able to identify and develop good technology partners to collaborate/support company’s product development effort.
• Provide sound technical direction for product design aspects for developmental and commercial products throughout their entire lifecycle.

• Serve as subject matter expertise and stay current with new technologies and material advancements. Participate in research and assessment of the industry landscape from IP, regulatory, product, and technology standpoint. Collaborate on technical reviews at the various stages of design and development.Supports compliance to company’s Quality Management System and ISO 13485

REQUIREMENTS:

• Min Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic or any other technical fields
• 10 years relevant experience in product development role, preferably within the medical industry or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong in mechanical, mechatronic, or opto-mechanical fundamentals.
• Familiar with various manufacturing technologies and processes such as machining, injection moulding, extrusion etc.
• Proven track record in design innovation, preferably an inventor of 10 or more patents
• Open and collaborative style; must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged.
