Description
The primary focus for this role is to lead volunteer sourcing, event management and program operations. We are looking for a candidate from a project and event management background, who has strong communication skills and can enable volunteering and philanthropy initiatives in the region end to end. Program Management, Maintenance and Governance Overseeing the end-to-end program management of Tech Philanthropy programs (hackathons, youth programming and pro bono projects) in the region (including but not limited to: volunteer sourcing and training, nonprofit sourcing, communications, status reporting reporting, etc) Tracking activity and provide metrics related to the success of Tech Philanthropy programs Stakeholder management internally and externally in the region including ownership of the India Tech Philanthropy Council meetings and agenda Being adept in MS Excel and PowerPoint Event Management, Logistics & Coordination Managing a portfolio of initiatives coordinating with multiple stakeholders and regions Working with multiple internal support teams such as Corporate Services, IT, Multimedia, Legal, Corporate Security and communications/ marketing to ensure smooth flow of events Syncing up with HR on recruitment events and providing event logistical support Strong project management, communications and event management background Overall work experience of 6+ years required In depth understanding of running large scale events and proven ability to run them seamlessly Strong articulation, administrative and excellent communication skills (oral and written) The ideal candidate will be good at collaboration and working with various teams. Proven project management skills with ability to self-organize workload & set priorities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
