The Lead Teller is responsible for the overall daily operations of the teller line at the branch including following all bank procedures for a safe banking atmosphere for customers and employees. Provide quality customer service through mastery handling of routine over-the-counter transactions, advanced and complex branch transactions and for recognizing and acting upon cross sell and referral opportunities that present themselves during the transactions. Has a strong understanding of teller operations, reports and vault integrity. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum two (2) years of teller and/or banking experience required Prior supervisory and mentoring experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, flexible and team-oriented work environment Knowledge of basic accounting, with experience reviewing numerical information and balancing Ability to accurately count and handle cash, and manage multiple tasks at once Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Provide excellent internal and external customer service Good attendance record Professional appearance and attitude Bilingual preferred Available to work Saturdays, if needed All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, status as a protected veteran, among other things, or status as a qualified individual with a disability.
