JOB DESCRIPTION:

ServiceNow Developer - IT Workflows

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3 to 5 years of related experience as a ServiceNow Developer
  • 3+ years of experience with configuration management, managing the CSM, Discovery, Event Management & Service Mapping in the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proficiency in scripting including JavaScript, CSS, HTML and Angular.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow framework and good understanding of UI Scripting, UI Action, UI Policy, UI Macro, Business Rules, Workflow development, service-now administration, Reporting in ServiceNow, SQL, Database view in ServiceNow.
  • Working with creation and customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Portal, and Service Catalog Automation System/Process Automation (Orchestration).
  • Experience with IT Workflows, ITSM Professional modules such as Mobile & Predictive Intelligence.
  • Knowledge of ITSM/CSM components in ServiceNow.

• Working with creation and customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Portal, and Service Catalog Automation System/Process Automation (Orchestration). • Experience in customizing and configuring ServiceNow platform components using JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow Studio.

  • Experience with agile methodology, creating process designs, technical designs, defining user stories, and providing the necessary end-user training to deliver the proposed solution.
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate initiative through pro-active behavior
  • Participates in and/or leads diagnosis and fixing of problems within area of expertise
  • Identifies and fixes the root cause rather than just symptoms
  • Competent in use and understanding of ITSM processes & systems for client and Capgemini benefit
  • Listens and ensures understanding of the client requirements to be able to support the design of appropriate solutions

Responsibilities

Role Summary: As a ServiceNow ITSM Professional Developer, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow IT Workflow solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration of IT Operations Management processes and tools within the organization’s infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing IT operations, enhancing service delivery, and improving overall business performance. Primary Duties:

  • Work with Client to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow technical implementation and migration plan based on business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Install, configure, and customize the ServiceNow ITSM platform (business rules, UI policies, workflow, playbook, table…etc.) to align with requirements.
  • Configure integrations between ServiceNow and other systems to enable seamless communication and data exchange using APIs and data load.
  • Experience with scripting/complex Workflow, Portal widgets and Angular.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow IT Workflow functionality and integrations.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in IT Workflow and ServiceNow platform to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
