Lead Teacher Responsibilities Plan and facilitate engaging learning experiences using Kïdo’s rich, easy-to-use curriculum, with opportunities to incorporate your own creative ideas. Provide responsive care while confidently managing a dynamic classroom environment. Build meaningful relationships with children and families through daily communication, updates, photos, and conversations about each child’s growth. Foster a nurturing, inspiring preschool environment where young learners thrive. Collaborate closely with fellow teachers as part of a supportive teaching team. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Experience teaching in a licensed preschool setting At least 18 years of age Lead Teacher Qualified per state of IL regulations Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field or a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential 5–10 years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare program or 2–3 years of experience in a Montessori school setting Fluent in Spanish and English is a plus (reading, writing, and speaking) Why Join Kïdo?
