This role focuses on helping children build independence, communication skills, and social-emotional confidence through engaging classroom experiences and structured routines. Key Responsibilities Lead daily classroom instruction and routines for 2-year-old children Implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences Support early language, social, and cognitive development Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Guide assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and classroom updates Ensure compliance with NYC childcare licensing requirements Qualifications BA or AA in Early Childhood Education preferred, CDA accepted Candidates with 5+ years of classroom experience and high school diploma considered Prior experience leading a toddler or twos classroom preferred Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
