Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Senior UI/UX designer who will:
- Design software, platforms, and interfaces that meet people’s needs and exceed their expectations.
- Combine interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience.
- Utilize analysis and creativity to grasp user needs and solve problems.
What are some of the responsibilities?
- Translate business requirements, user needs and technical requirements into designs that are visually appealing, easy to use, and engaging for our users.
- Gather requirements from users and stakeholders and utilize them to create information architecture, personas, journey maps, user workflows, wireframes, visual prototypes and interaction concepts.
- Review and guide the work of less senior team members, document UX/UI Standards and expand the design system library.
- Take ownership of the user experience and user interface design for web and mobile applications.
- Understand product specifications and user psychology to define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.
- Apply the results from user research and usability testing to create new features and improve current features.
- Professionally communicate design ideas and prototypes to our customers, developers, designers, and our program management team.
- Remain actively informed of industry trends.
- Thinking globally from a product development perspective to expand Five Pack’s design efforts.
- Build a collaborative, design-focused culture amongst our design team.
Who is qualified?
- We are seeking a candidate with 5+ years experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role. Strong portfolio in design projects is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Background in leadership, management, mentorship, project management or research is preferred.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.
