Job Description We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of intuitive, scalable, and innovative product experiences. This role blends design expertise with technical implementation, enabling rapid prototyping and seamless collaboration between design and engineering. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating user-centered solutions while leveraging modern technologies to bring ideas to life. Key responsibilities Bridge design and development by creating interactive prototypes and production-ready components that accelerate product delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data, QA) to define and implement user experiences across multiple platforms. Develop prototypes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React, Vue, or similar) and integrate with design tools like Figma. Translate design concepts into functional code for proof-of-concepts and assist engineering teams with implementation guidance. Advocate for accessibility and performance best practices in both design and development. Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to inform design and technical decisions. Iterate on designs, prototypes, and technical implementation based on user feedback, data insights, and business requirements. Document technical specifications and maintain component libraries for handoff and reuse. Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products. Partner with other designers to maintain design quality and share best practices. Qualifications 7+ years of combined experience in UX Design and/or Front End Engineering (Design Technologist, UX Engineer, or similar). Strong portfolio showcasing interactive prototypes and design-to-code workflows. Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular (Angular preferred). Proficiency in Figma, or a strong ability to learn it Experience with usability testing and user research methods. Solid understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG). Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across time zones. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Preferred skills Experience working on B2B or data-heavy products. Familiarity with design systems at scale and component-driven development. Knowledge of data visualization best practices. Familiarity with version control (Git) and modern build tools.
