Welcome to Bosch. Job Description This role will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of lifetime and functional validation testing for eMachines and their sub-components. This includes planning, execution, documentation, and customer communication. •Organizing, tracking, executing, and documenting lifetime or functional validation tests for eMachines and their sub-components •Estimating and tracking test costs •Serving as the primary contact for customers on all validation-related issues •Documentation Approval: The right to approve and release all internal and external technical documentation related to functional testing and validation •Resource Allocation: The authority to plan and allocate necessary test benches and to define/order the required test samples and special parts needed for validation •Customer Communication: The authority to act as the primary customer interface for all testing related topics, and to receive customer requests/concerns •Validation Planning: Organizing and overseeing the complete validation process, from defining test details and devices to investigating potential failure mechanisms •Resource Management: Organizing all necessary supply parts, fixtures, software, and measurement devices •Scheduling: Scheduling and booking test-benches from both internal and external suppliers •Execution & Monitoring: Carrying out the validation and tracking its progress at the test bench •Documentation: Creating and managing all necessary documentation related to the validation process •Process Improvement: Continuously working to improve the validation system and processes to reduce costs and save time.
