JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team at a private school. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for educating and nurturing young children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their academic and social development.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A Child Development Associate (CDA) or Florida Child Care Professional Certificate (FCCPC) earned within the last five (5) years; or
  • An Associate’s Degree or higher in Child Development
  • Early Literacy Training Certificate
  • 40-Hour In-service Hours
  • Proven experience in childcare or teaching within a private school setting.
  • Strong skills in behavior management and the ability to communicate effectively with children and parents.
  • Knowledge of literacy education techniques and standardized testing procedures.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their growth in all areas of development.
  • Ability to create lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus.
