Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wall Panel Assembler with EWP (Engineered Wood Products) experience to join our dynamic team at Remuda Building & Supplies. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling wall panels for various building projects, ensuring quality and accuracy in every piece you create. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for construction, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
· Follow blueprints and specifications to accurately assemble wall panels, including framing, insulation, and sheathing.
· Inspect assembled panels for defects and ensure they meet company and industry standards before delivery.
· Safely operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and nail guns, to complete assembly tasks efficiently.
· Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion.
· Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while working in the production area.
· Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment, reporting any issues to management.
· Complete necessary paperwork for inventory and production tracking.
· Load and unload materials such as lumber and building supplies.
· Assist with customer pickups and deliveries.
· Assist in moving and staging materials for production.
· Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment (training provided if necessary).
The Ideal Candidate:
Our ideal candidate for the Lead Assembler role possesses the following qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in construction or carpentry is a plus.
· Previous experience in wall panel assembly, carpentry, or a related field is preferred.
· Familiarity with construction tools and techniques; ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
· Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and accuracy in work.
· Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
