The University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD) is seeking a Lead Web Developer to manage its web presence and maintain a consistent presentation of the UMSOD brand. This position will maintain the school’s website to ensure it is always up to date and accurate. The Lead Web Developer manages and oversees the planning and directing of resources necessary to develop and support the strategic initiatives of the web based systems/applications for one or more business functions of the School; reviews, evaluates, and recommends objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure that the web based systems/applications provided are of high quality and that the needs of the UMSOD are being serviced. Manages large/complex projects that require web-based systems/applications. Develops thoughtful web content to drive organic reach, provides guidance and makes recommendations to key stakeholders, ensures adherence to budget and schedule, and engages in effective communications between web personnel and end users.

HIRING RANGE: $102,000 - $113,000, COMMENSURATE WITH EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
