We are seeking a Full Stack Lead Web Developer (Part-time) to join the University of Maryland School of Medicine web communications team. The position provides web development, back-end web layouts, functionality, and other enhancements utilizing the Terminal Four web content management system (training will be provided). The ideal candidate can also use various Data Visualization tools and frameworks, such as Force Simulation, D3 JavaScript library, Power BI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, D3.js, Plotly, or Tableau, to create interactive and dynamic data visualizations, leveraging AI techniques, such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or generative design.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of various tools and frameworks, such as (Force Simulation) using D3 JavaScript library, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Plotly, or Tableau.
- Skill using Data Visualization software.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to take a logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem solving and pays close attention to detail. Merging the web development world with the front-end user-based results.
- Able to work either independently or as part of a team on both small and large development projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain close working relationships with business stakeholders and other technologists.
- The ability to multitask within the time constraints set by internal clients / entities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Hiring Range: 50% Part Time $51,000-60,000 (Commensurate with education and experience)
