LEAD WELL OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN   Job Summary:   The Lead Well Operations Technician is responsible for supporting safe, reliable, and compliant well operations across assigned field areas while providing day-to-day technical leadership to field personnel. This role serves as a senior field resource, ensuring wells, production equipment, and related systems operate efficiently and in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The Lead Well Operations Technician provides operational continuity by coordinating field activities, supporting Well Operations Technicians, and assisting supervision with planning, troubleshooting, and execution of well operations.   Essential Duties:   * Provide accountability for the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of wells, production equipment, and associated facilities within assigned areas. * Serve as a lead field resource by coordinating daily well operations, prioritizing work activities, and supporting Well Operations Technicians as needed. * Support continuity of operations by filling in for Well Operations Technicians during absences and assisting with oversight of field activities. * Monitor production operations to ensure wells, tanks, pipelines, and meters operate correctly and in alignment with operational plans. * Ensure accurate production measurement, testing, gauging, and documentation to support reporting and operational decision-making. * Identify, troubleshoot, and assist in resolving well, equipment, and flow issues, escalating concerns when necessary. * Coordinate shutdowns, startups, and project activities to support maintenance, workovers, and operational improvements. * Support maintenance and minor repair activities for wells, pumping units, separators, compressors, engines, and associated equipment. * Promote and reinforce safety expectations, environmental compliance, and proper operating practices in the field. * Communicate operational conditions, risks, and performance issues to supervision in a timely and accurate manner. * This position is expected to maintain strict confidentiality of company information, employee records, and any sensitive data encountered in the course of work.   Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:    * Strong working knowledge of well operations, production equipment, and field processes. * Ability to identify abnormal operating conditions and respond appropriately in dynamic field environments. * Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to field personnel. * Strong safety awareness and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements. * Effective communication, documentation, and coordination skills.   Education and Experience:   * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Prior oil and gas field operations experience required. * Experience serving in a lead, relief foreman, or senior field role preferred. * Must meet Driver Acceptability Profile requirements (driving position). * An equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable.   Working Conditions:    * Work will be primarily in the field environment. * Exposure to varying outdoor conditions including heat, cold, dust, and noise. * PPE required in field settings. * Occasional extended hours may be required based on operational needs. * Physical activity including standing, squatting/kneeling, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting (constant up to 30 pounds, occasional of 31-50 pounds) may be required.   Additional Information:    * Pay Grade: H6 * FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt * Employment Category: Regular Full-Time * Safety Sensitive Position: Yes * The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily and, if requested, reasonable accommodation will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job, absent undue hardship. * The Employer retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position. * Dugan Production is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. * The company has reviewed this job description to ensure that essential functions and basic duties have been included.
