REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years’ experience in window and door/glazing installations
• Skilled in both uPVC and aluminium systems
• Basic plastering (bonding and skimming)
• Full, clean driving licence
• Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, Abrasive Wheel
• High attention to detail and pride in quality of work
• Professional, reliable, and confident managing small teams
• Conversational English (supplemental Language training provided if required)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re looking for an experienced and capable Lead Installer to take charge of one of our window and door fitting crews. You’ll be responsible for high-quality installations, managing a small team on-site, and representing Weathermaster professionally in customers’ homes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and carry out installations of uPVC and aluminium windows and doors to a high standard
• Read and work accurately from survey sheets
• Remove existing windows and doors safely and cleanly
• Apply insulation, sealants, and weatherproofing for energy efficiency and long-term durability
• Ensure site is kept safe, clean, and professional during and after work
• Supervise and support junior fitters/labourers on site
• Communicate with office staff and project coordinators to flag issues or delays
• Manage on-site customer interactions professionally and keep them updated during the job
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed at all times (training provided)
• Maintain van, tools, PPE, and scaffolding in good working order
