We are looking for a full-time Leader, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Legal Technology Adoption. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience practising law, with demonstrated interest or experience in legal technology, innovation and process improvement. Working with the Technology and Knowledge Management teams, you will be involved in the strategic planning, evaluation and selection of AI related tools and platforms and responsible for training and their adoption. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Goodmans lawyers to identify challenges and opportunities for workflow transformation using generative AI to enhance legal services and operations. Play a key role along with Technology and Knowledge Management in determining the best AI tools and platforms for Goodmans. Support the development of business cases related to the acquisition, deployment and implementation of AI and other legal technologies. Advocate for responsible AI use in the provision of legal services and operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory, governance and ethical standards. Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all AI-related matters. Design, test and implement AI-driven document drafting, research, extraction and analysis workflows. Develop prompts, precedents and playbooks tailored to practice group needs. Deliver AI focused education to lawyers, law clerks and law students through section meetings, large- and small-scale training sessions and one-on-one consultations as needed. Requirements: A law degree and active bar membership with 3+ years of experience practising law. Demonstrated experience or interest in legal technology, innovation and workflow process improvement. Strong understanding of and interest in generative AI concepts, legal technology platforms and tools and technology adoption. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and change management skills. Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
