Description

For our headquarters in Wuppertal, we are looking for a Group Leader Fleet Management (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible in a permanent full-time position.

Your tasks:

You will lead the fleet management team professionally and disciplinarily, and continuously develop your employees.
You are responsible for the operational and strategic fleet, claims and cost management.
You ensure a high level of professional quality within the team and continuously develop processes and procedures.
You analyze and optimize maintenance, wear, repair and tire costs and develop meaningful key performance indicators for fleet management.
You will maintain and further develop our fleet management system (Leasman) and drive the digitalization of our processes.
You manage the entire claims processing – from damage assessment and coordination with insurance companies, lawyers and customers to final settlement.
You work closely with suppliers and service providers and conduct contract and price negotiations.
You ensure the proper review, processing, and posting of all fleet-related invoices.
You will support day-to-day operations and take on special tasks across departments.

Your profile:

You have completed training as an automotive technician (m/f/d) or possess a comparable technical or commercial qualification.
You bring several years of professional experience in the leasing, automotive or fleet management industry.
You have sound knowledge of fleet management as well as in the areas of maintenance, repair, leasing and cost control.
Ideally, you have specialized knowledge in insurance processing.
You have already gained leadership experience
You are proficient in using fleet management software and common MS Office applications and have an affinity for digital processes.
Ideally, you already have experience in planning, managing, or participating in projects.
You think analytically, act in a structured manner, and make economically sound decisions.
With your negotiation skills, assertiveness, and persuasive communication, you achieve sustainable solutions.
Self-initiative, a sense of responsibility and team spirit are a matter of course for you – as is a solution-oriented and reliable approach.
