Description

Company Description
Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) is one of Australia’s largest autism-specific service providers, with one of the biggest autism-specific school programs in the world. A not-for-profit organisation, we work in partnership with people of all ages on the autism spectrum, and their families to deliver evidence-informed solutions that are person-centred, family-focused and customer driven.
At Aspect we recognise a different brilliant®, where we seek to understand, engage and celebrate the strengths, interests and aspirations of people on the autism spectrum.
Job Description

EDUCATION:

Aspect Schools are leaders in education for children on the autism spectrum K-12, leading the way in developing and applying innovative, evidence-based education approaches that create positive outcomes for autistic students and young people.
It’s the perfect time to join one of our ten Aspect Schools, located in NSW and SA, as we embark on our exciting journey alongside Dr Lyn Sharratt to put focus on data, demonstrating growth of students learning and development. Our dedicated Educators are transforming the landscape of autism education, paving the way for brighter futures and boundless opportunities for our students.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL:

Aspect Hills Shire School is the newest addition to our ten autism-specific schools across New South Wales and South Australia. At Aspect, we know every student is unique, so our approach focuses on personalised learning tailored to each child’s strengths, interests, and needs.
With small classes of around six students, led by trained teachers and supported by teacher’s aides, your child will receive the attention they need to thrive. Our curriculum aligns with national standards while providing flexibility and individualised support.
The Aspect model helps students build independence and confidence, preparing them for transitions to less specialised settings when ready. Families also become part of a welcoming, supportive community that shares the journey together.
