POSITION SUMMARY

We’re seeking a high-performing, entrepreneurial Leader of Sales & Business Development to spearhead our growth into the U.S. linear lighting market. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving sales strategy, building key customer and channel relationships, and expanding our national presence. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership, marketing, and product development to unlock new market segments and drive revenue growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7–15 years of sales, business development, or channel leadership experience in the lighting or electrical products industry.
  • Demonstrated success in growing market share in linear or architectural lighting segments.
  • Proven ability to lead and scale a national go-to-market organization.
  • Strong network among lighting agents, contractors, OEMs, and electrical distributors.
  • Experience in e-commerce or hybrid direct/indirect sales models is a strong plus.
  • Data-driven, strategic thinker with a bias toward action and results.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and capable of operating in a fast-paced growth environment.
Responsibilities
  • Own and scale national sales strategy to achieve company revenue and GM targets.
  • Identify and pursue high-impact opportunities across direct, rep, distributor, and OEM channels.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales and business development team – currently 5 Direct Reports
  • Establish and grow strategic relationships with lighting agents, specifiers, electrical contractors, and large-volume customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align go-to-market strategies, messaging, and channel enablement for linear lighting.
  • Track, analyze, and report on pipeline development, performance metrics, and market feedback.
  • Represent aspectLED at key industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Operate with a builder’s mindset—comfortable rolling up your sleeves and scaling systems, tools, and processes to support national growth.
