  • You have 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a unionized manufacturing environment.

  • You have interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, all levels of management team, and other departments.

As a Leader, Operations at Bombardier, reporting to the Operations Director, you are responsible for managing unionized employees. Your role requires acting as a coach and a communicator.

  • Plan and supervise the activities and management of a team of approximately 25 unionized employees.
  • Be responsible for the operational processes of your sector by achieving and monitoring the production objectives.
  • Manage the budgets of your group and ensure the quality of the product.
  • Plan the daily operations of your sector and follow up on them.
  • Report and analyze various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc.
  • Resolve problems in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Maintain communication with other departments for any issues related to your sector.
  • Ensure continuous improvement using operational excellence concepts and the problem-solving process.
  • Ensure the training of your employees, evaluate their performance and their progress.
  • Promote a work environment based on teamwork and open communication.
  • Exercise your leadership while respecting the vision and values of Bombardier.
  • Coach your team to develop their talent in the organization
