POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and creative Leadership and Development Instructional Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver innovative leadership development programs and learning experiences. You will focus on creating engaging, bite-sized learning modules, video content, and multimedia resources to support leadership growth and capability-building across the organization.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for an instructional designer who is passionate about leadership development and skilled in creating engaging, interactive content using modern learning tools such as microlearning, video-based learning, and popular authoring tools. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to create learning experiences that are impactful, efficient, and accessible.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in instructional design, with at least 2 years specifically focused on leadership development and the creation of multimedia-based content.
  • Experience in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Experience with a variety of learning technologies and platforms, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) e.g. Docebo, video creation tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro), and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, Vyond, Camtasia, etc.).

SKILLS:

  • Proven experience designing engaging and effective microlearning and video-based learning experiences for adult learners.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and the ability to select the right delivery format (e.g., instructor-led, eLearning, blended) to meet learner needs.
  • Demonstrates hands-on expertise with eLearning tools, LMS platforms (e.g., Docebo), and documentation software.
  • Expertise in using authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, Vyond, and Camtasia to create interactive eLearning modules, video content, and multimedia resources.
  • Ability to create high-quality video content and multimedia assets that enhance learning experiences and drive engagement.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement learning solutions that align with leadership development goals.
