We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Leading Hand and Aircraft Cabin Cleaners to join our team.
The Leading Hand will report directly to the Station Coordinator, their duties will be to ensure all cleaning staff assigned to their control are continuously observed and coached and are following company procedure, including WHS and security related matters.

Responsibilities

LEADING HAND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Mentor, monitor and motivate employees.
  • Mediate in staff conflicts.
  • Liaison with airline contacts during cleaning.
  • Monitor individual cleaner’s performance, report and correct under performance.
  • Ensure sufficient equipment, chemicals and materials are available for each clean.
  • Deliver quality, on time service.
  • Use of two way radios.
  • Working with due care to ensure your health and safety and the safety of others in the workplace.
  • Being punctual, very reliable and highly motivated to work.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate/read/write in English.

CLEANING DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Clean and restock toilets.
  • Clean galleys.
  • Clean and dress all seats according to airline specifications.
  • Remove all rubbish from aircraft.
  • Clean seat back pockets, tray tables, windows and replace soiled magazines.
  • Must be willing to clean toilets.
  • Clean/vacuum aircraft floor.
  • Carry out other duties as per airline requirements.
