About the Role:
As a Leading Hand you will assist in ensuring smooth operations ensuring the timely delivery of all parcels. You will have demonstrated experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and display a strong attention to detail. You will be a strong communicator, liaising with delivery partners and internal stakeholders to ensure safe and compliant delivery practices including assisting with loadout, providing route support and escalation when required.
Please note: The schedule for this role includes hours between 7:00am – 11:00am and 2:00pm – 6:00pm, Monday – Sunday.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Must thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Previous experience working in a Delivery depot or warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25kgs and remain on your feet for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
  • Manage the loadout process for drivers, including providing manifests and ensuring safe and proper processes are followed.
  • Provide support and advice to drivers as it relates to their routes and successful delivery.
  • Maintain safety and security of premises and all people on-site.
  • Develop and maintain solid working relationships with Delivery Contractors and Drivers.
  • Respond to urgent matters and escalate as required.
  • Always maintain a professional & high-quality service-oriented environment.
