We are now seeking a Leading Hand: Operations Processing to join our Processing team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Accountable to the Supervisor: Processing.
This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8/6 FIFO roster, we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Maintaining a safe workplace, leading by example and promoting a positive safety culture
• Ensuring adherence to site policies and procedures
• Identifying and eliminating hazards with a view of achieving an injury free workplace
• Reviewing and monitoring adherence to operational procedures
• Provide relief support for the Operations Shift Supervisor as required and adopt all accountabilities for the duration of the relief period
• Support the operations supervisor in undertaking on the job training within the team of processing technicians
• Maximise the plant performance by adhering to set parameters and ensure KPI’s are always met or exceeded
• Investigate and suggest potential solutions to plant variations and performance
• Operate all operational areas of the processing plant, including the centralised control room and the tailings storage facility
• Perform processing plant equipment isolations and create applicable permit to work documents
• Assisting with the planning of maintenance activities to avoid impacts to the plan, forecast and budget deliverables
• Effective communication, understanding and support given to all other departments based on transparent information sharing
