We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand with strong technical knowledge, hands-on capability, and a safety-first approach to site supervision. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead and coordinate crews across a diverse portfolio of remedial construction projects. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring trades and labourers, and brings a practical, solutions-focused mindset to site challenges. Your responsibilities will include: * Trade qualifications in carpentry. * Understands and applies quality control techniques - following and completing ITP's and other Company procedures/ QA documents as required. * Exercises good interpersonal and communication skills and assists with coordination within site team and with other trades/ clients and the Foreperson / Project Supervisor / Project Manager. * Performs work of a trades or non-trades nature which is incidental or peripheral to the Employee's main function. * Is able to inspect finished repair products for conformity with established operational standards. * Assists in the provision of on-the-job training. * Performs work under limited supervision of the Foreperson / Project Supervisor / Project Manager either individually or in a team environment. * Allocates functions within a site team in conjunction with the Foreperson /Project Supervisor / Project Manager. * Production sequencing and materials handling. * Has a sound understanding of the construction process for remedial works and the coordination required with other trades. * Read and interpret project programmes. * Able to monitor and ensure site productivity is at level that aligns with the project programme. * Safety first mentality.
