How you will make contributions that matter We have an exciting opportunity for a Leading Hand to join our Sungold Team at our site in Allansford, where you will have the opportunity to provide frontline leadership to support safe, efficient and high‑quality production outcomes across a critical part of the plant. We are seeking a motivated, reliable and people‑focused leader who enjoys owning a shift, coaching teams in real time and ensuring work is completed to standard in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role operates on a Monday–Friday shift pattern including Day & Afternoon shifts, offering consistency while still providing exposure to a complex, high‑volume production operation. (Dayshift: 4am-12.30pm & Afternoon-shift: 11am-7.30pm) Your responsibilities will include: Lead and coordinate daily shift activities across the Sungold Milk Bottling Production Line and Cool Room areas. Ensure operators are allocated appropriately and work in line with production plans, quality standards and safety requirements. Provide frontline coaching, direction and support to operators throughout the shift. Act as the point of accountability on shift, managing handovers, day‑to‑day issues and escalation as required. Monitor production flow, respond to issues in real time and coordinate with Maintenance and Site Leadership. Promote strong safety, quality and food compliance practices, including GMP and HACCP adherence. About you: Experience leading people in a manufacturing or operational environment would be highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, confident direction on shift. Manufacturing or food production exposure preferred, though diverse backgrounds are welcomed. Applicants with Trade Backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Ability to work collaboratively with operators, trades and site leadership. Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment with competing priorities. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and a calm, consistent leadership style.
