We’re looking for experienced Leading Hand to join our team in Brisbane. This is a Permanent Monday to Friday role that will support our Diesel Fitters in the local Brisbane workshop. What you’ll be doing As a Leading Hand at Hastings Deering, you will: Deliver quality service – carry out maintenance and repairs to the highest standard, ensuring our customers’ equipment performs at its best. Follow the right procedures – research and consult the correct and latest information systems for specific procedures, instructions and specifications. Do it once, do it right – take every step to ensure workmanship is fault-free ensuring quality in the finished product and any rework is avoided. Lead, Support and mentor – Train and develop other technicians by following procedures and sharing knowledge Think outside the box – Identify ways to improve our process’ and ways of working to keep Hastings Deering at the forefront of the industry Safety above all – make sure that the workshop maintains its safety standards and get everyone home safe Who are we and why work with us?
