QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction as an electrician
  • 2+ years’ experience as a leadman electrician preferred**
  • Experience working in data center and high-rise projects preferred**
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Daily on-site attendance required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the construction process.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (bending, crawling, climbing, kneeling, balancing, pushing, pulling).
  • Proficiency with construction equipment.
  • OSHA certification preferred (training provided if needed).
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Thorough understanding of blueprints and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Possession of own Journeyman tools and meets all Journeyman requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of special systems (e.g., fire alarms, sound, voice data).
  • Ability to install and make up switch gear (Cad weld) and perform control wiring.
  • Advanced wire pulling techniques (e.g., Tuggers).
  • Ability to coordinate with other trades, plan ahead, and meet production goals.
    Pay ranges from $34 to $38 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of electricians on various projects.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Supervise the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Perform hands-on electrical work and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members.
  • Manage materials and prepare reports.
  • Communicate with other trades and project stakeholders.
